What's a girl who lives a normal life supposed to blog about?
So glad my life isn't normal.
As of lately I have had a lot of changes happen in my life
I wasn't exactly anticipating these changes.
change is fabulous though.
The only problem is with change comes change.
I have gone from showering every 3 days to every 6...if I am lucky, or if all of you are lucky.
I have gone from loving 8-9 hours of glorious sleep to 4-5 hours of so-so sleep
I have gone from not having a calling in my ward because I travel to much to having a calling I have to plan my travel schedule around.
Once upon a time I had time. Time to shop for pretty shoes, time to wear pretty shoes, time to pose and take semi creepy pictures with my shoes.
I have started working full time at the down town location. I previously was part time in Draper. I am obsessed with my job. I secretly wish I could sleep on the bed in the aesthetics room, I feel my dreams would be of sparkles and facials, I would wake up with all these amazing, mind blowing ideas. Well, more than I already to.
I was able to represent "I'm Beautiful" (the Salon I work for) on the morning show, Good Things Utah. We did a segment on eyebrow shaping.
I can't seem to get the video to load. You can go to imbeautiful.com, or their facebook page. You can also access it through my facebook page to find the link!
I was a little nervous, but then once I saw the set the feeling of a 1980's Disney show flooded over me and thus my nerves were no longer an issue. However, don't be alarmed when you watch and realize that I am an awkward person.
I like to think that I am a fairly smart girl. We joke at work that I am cute and smart... not really a joke though. I did make one dumb decision though, just one.
7:00 AM CLASS
WORST IDEA EVER.
Leaving my humble abode at 6:30 in the morning, to sit in an easy algebra (that is really what the class is called) is awful. Simply awful. I try not to complain about it but, I can't help it. It is retched. One day I arrived to class and realized a part of my outfit was missing. This part was my bra. Luckily I had a large sweatshirt and small... well, yeah.
Although I am crazy with school, work and oh yes, how could I forget, teaching Gospel Doctrine... I still have time to have fun. Way to much fun. Girls night in Salt that consist of dinner and movies, sleepovers and pillow talk. And by pillow talk I mean boy talk. And by boy talk I mean hilarious stories.
Funny story of the weekend.
We went to CPK for dinner. We had a wonderful waiter. He was straight from Mexico. Had the best real life mexican mustache ever to be seen. A soothing mexican accent to go right along with his stash and a name tag that read Jake. Jake loved us ladies. We loved to call Jake by his first name as often as we could. I am pretty sure my water was nearly over flowing the entire dinner because he was so on-top of refills. Leaving CPK and heading to the movies we were half way up the escalator when we heard a charming mexican accent yelling 'Emily', over and over. We turn around to find Jake running up the escalator on the down side. Forever 4 steps he would take up he was pushed back 6 by the downward motion and all the people actually trying to go down. He reached his hand across to our side and handed me my debit card. Awe, so sweet Jake. We loved it.
Well, now that I am blogging again (I say this every time) I will have to start taking pictures and notes of eventful and funny moments that happen in my not so normal life
